1. What SW Prep is

SW Prep provides ASWB exam practice questions, mock exams, flashcards, and related study tools (“the Service”), accessible at swtestprep.com. A companion site, swready.com, provides free general career-guidance content.

SW Prep is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) or the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). References to ASWB exam levels, domains, and terminology are used to describe what the Service prepares you for, not to claim any official relationship.

2. Accounts

You need an account to save progress, take mock exams, or subscribe. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at contact@swtestprep.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

Accounts are for individual use. Sharing a paid account’s login with people who haven’t subscribed is not permitted.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. You can manage or cancel a subscription from your account through Stripe’s secure billing portal; access remains active through the end of the paid period. Refund eligibility is covered by our Refund Policy.

We may change prices for future billing periods. If we do, we’ll give existing subscribers reasonable notice before the new price applies to their next renewal. The price and billing interval shown at checkout govern the purchase. If payment fails, paid access may pause until payment is restored; any grace period shown in your account is temporary. Contact us about disputed charges. Submitting a refund request does not itself cancel renewal, and a dispute is not proof of account abuse.

4. Free tier and freemium limits

Visitors can currently access a fixed preview of 10 questions per exam level without an account. Paid plans unlock the full practice bank and mock exams. Professional subject-matter review of the current question bank is pending; publication does not represent reviewer approval.

The free tier and the anonymous practice preview are provided as-is and may be changed, limited, or discontinued at any time — for example, the number of free questions available before an account is required.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, republish, or redistribute practice questions, rationales, mock exams, flashcards, or study notes in whole or in part, by any automated or manual means.
• Circumvent, disable, or attempt to defeat any access, rate-limiting, or copy-protection measure on the Service.
• Share a paid account with people who have not subscribed, or resell access to the Service.
• Use the Service to build, train, or benchmark a competing product.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section where reasonably necessary to protect the Service or other users. Mandatory refund rights are preserved. You can contact us to ask for review of a suspension.

Community contributions

You retain your rights in posts and grant SW Prep permission to host, display and moderate them to operate the community. Do not post confidential client information, actual or recalled examination questions, infringing material, harassment, or unlawful content. We may remove posts and restrict abusive accounts. Report concerns using the report control or our contact address. XP reflects participation, not credentials or professional expertise.

6. Content is a study aid, not a guarantee

Practice questions and rationales are written to help you prepare for ASWB exams, but they are not official ASWB material and using the Service is not a guarantee of passing any exam. Passing depends on many factors outside our control, including your own preparation and the actual exam content, which we do not have access to. The material is educational and is not clinical, legal or licensing advice. Verify current requirements with ASWB and your licensing board.

7. Career guidance content (swready.com)

swready.com publishes general career and licensure information. It is not legal, licensing, or individualized career advice. Licensing requirements are set by each jurisdiction’s board and change over time — always confirm specifics with your own board rather than relying on any summary we publish.

8. Intellectual property

All questions, rationales, mock exams, flashcards, study notes, guides, software, and design on the Service are owned by SW Prep or its licensors and protected by copyright and other laws. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the content for your own exam preparation — it does not transfer ownership or grant any right to redistribute.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SW Prep is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including exam outcomes, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service changes. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or email where appropriate. We will obtain consent when required and will not apply new billing terms retroactively.
