Privacy Policy

What this covers

This policy describes how SW Prep handles information across swtestprep.com and swready.com. It’s written to match what the Service actually collects, not a generic template.

Information we collect

• Account information: the email address and password you sign up with (handled by Supabase Auth — we don’t see or store your password in plain text).
• Study data: completed practice-session totals and mock-exam answers, scores, supervision logs, community contributions, moderation reports and support requests are saved to your account. Flashcard progress, adaptive-plan detail and in-progress mocks stay in this browser. Do not enter identifiable client information.
• Billing information: handled entirely by Stripe. We store Stripe customer/subscription identifiers, plan, status, and billing-period end so we can grant access. We never receive or store your full card number.

Usage counts and security

We collect aggregate daily page and event counts without advertising cookies, persistent analytics identifiers, query strings, or individual browsing histories. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals for this collection. Our infrastructure also processes IP addresses and request metadata to deliver and protect the service. Short-lived abuse counters use hashed network identifiers; hashing does not make these identifiers anonymous.

Community posts use a pseudonymous learner label and are visible to Premium members and administrators. Support and refund requests are available to authorized administrators. Supervision logs are private to your authenticated account through the application.

What we don’t do

• We don’t send your questions, answers, or any personal information to an AI model at runtime. The question bank is pre-written and stored in our database; scoring is algorithmic. (An LLM was used, offline, to help draft the original question bank — that process never touches your data.)
• We don’t sell your personal information to anyone.
• We don’t currently run advertising or analytics cookies — see the Cookie Policy for exactly what is and isn’t in place.

Who we share information with

Only the services that make SW Prep work:

• Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication.
• Stripe — processes payments and manages subscriptions.
• Cloudflare — hosts the application and handles traffic/security at the network level.

Authorized personnel may access information to provide support, investigate abuse, process requests, and meet legal obligations. Service providers process information on our behalf; they may operate in jurisdictions outside your own.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and study data for as long as your account is active, so your progress is there when you come back. Request deletion of your account and, after verifying the request, we will delete or anonymize this data, other than what we are required to keep for tax and accounting purposes (billing records). Browser-only data remains on that device until you clear the site’s storage or remove it through the relevant feature.

Your choices

• Review your plan in account settings, manage billing details in Stripe’s portal, or email us to access or correct account data.
• Delete your account and associated study data at any time by emailing contact@swtestprep.com.
• Cancel a paid subscription at any time (see the Terms).
• Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict or object to processing of your information, or appeal a decision. Contact us to exercise these rights or raise a privacy concern. We verify identity before disclosing or changing account data and do not penalize lawful privacy requests.

Children

SW Prep is intended for adults preparing for professional licensure exams. It is not directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we start collecting new categories of information — analytics cookies, for example — we’ll update this page and, where required, ask for consent before doing so.
